Yesterday my little sister-in-law transformed before our eyes.

We woke up early and watched God grace us with blue skies and a few warm rays just for effect.  And then we set to work arranging the sweet decor entirely fashioned by her pretty hands.

 

She and her mini-me niece slipped and zipped into pretty dresses of white.

 And then after the pictures were taken and the chairs prepped…

Her daddy gave her away.

She broke bread with a new guy and we thanked God for the desires of our hearts and His grace for giving them to us.

 Then they promised each other forever before witnesses, big and small…

Reminding us all that God is good and love really does make the world go ’round.

Then, after months of prepping and planning and crafting and waiting they were having their doughnuts…

And eating them too:)

Before we knew it their once upon time was driving off into a happily ever after.  And the two had become one.

Yesterday my little sister-in-law transformed into a gorgeous woman before our eyes.  Today one fine fella, who saw her as such long ago, will take her to lunch in the land of sunshine and Mouseketeers and cherish her for the rest of her life.

And I am pretty sure the whole world is smiling.
