About Me

I’m just your average house wife with an uncanny aptitude to see the bright side of things.  Once in a while I am blessed with the ability to transpose that light into words.  This is my attempt to share them with the world, however big or small it may be.

As you peruse the words that gather here I hope you not only see the light that seeps into my life through all kinds of fissures but also discover the glow permeating your own broken world.  There is brilliance everywhere, glimmers of hope and sparkles of wisdom waiting around every corner.  Seek it out.  Capture it.  Soak up its splendor.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17

I couldn’t do better my self (no seriously I could never do something that good)
When I read that piece my whole entire body started screaming with joy.
    Hope you write more.

  4. Hey Botox isn’t all that bad! You are so young still cousin. But prepared you will be with this amazing attitude for your future and all the creases both physical and mental that await you. That await us all. You are one of the most in shape bodies I know and admire. Ah life is indeed grand and shaking our bodies to their core.

  5. Thanks for visiting my site and for your sweet compliment. I love your work, and the feel of your blog is very dreamy and inspirational. It looks like we started this at the same time so let’s check in on one another when we can. =)

  6. Thank you for the lovely compliment you gave to me yesterday. I could return the very same words to you, Tristen. There’s an almost wondrous quality to your words, and I hope to read more soon!

  7. Thank you for visiting and I must say I enjoy what I have read here. Looking forward to reading more.

  8. Hi Tris,
Thanks for dropping by my mom’s blog (Susan over on fruitfulwords) and leaving a comment about my art. It’s a treat for artists to hear peoples reaction to their art. It thrilled me to hear that your girls are fans. If you or the kids have art project questions I’d love to chat.

    • I used to be so great about engaging in crafts with them. I can remember building castles out of shoe boxes and old toilet paper rolls with my oldest when she was knee high. But, as our clan grew and life got busier the crafts have dwindled down to water color paints and an occasional play dough session. You should try selling your amazing work in craft kits for mom’s like me. They’d make great birthday gifts and priceless splurges for busy houses in need of an artistic adventure and splashes of color.
